We are seeking a skilled
Sterile Supply Technician
to support the safe and efficient sterilization of surgical instruments and medical equipment. This role is critical to ensuring sterile processing standards are maintained for the Operating Room and other clinical units. Responsibilities: Perform decontamination, disinfection, washing, and sterilization of surgical instruments and trays. Assemble both simple and complex surgical sets with precision and attention to detail. Operate sterilization equipment including steam autoclaves, Steris, and Sterrad systems. Maintain strict adherence to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols. Accurately document sterilization processes and monitor sterilization indicators. Respond promptly to urgent and emergent supply requests from clinical staff. Oversee or assist with the proper cleaning and disinfection of surgical equipment. Qualifications: Successful completion of a nationally accredited Central Service Technician exam and current certification, OR at least 1 year of full-time experience as a Central Service Technician in a healthcare setting. Must pass a pre-employment health clearance. Required Skills: Minimum 1 year of experience in sterile processing or central service. Certification as a Central Service Technician (required). Nationally accredited exam certification (highly desired). Strong understanding of sterilization processes, aseptic technique, and surgical instrumentation. Ability to work in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.
