Job Summary and Qualifications
We are looking for a motivated Clinical Medical Assistant to provide outstanding clinical support in our practice. You will be an essential part of our dedicated team, focused on creating a positive experience for every patient.
In this role, you will:
Prepare patients for examinations and treatments by collecting patient histories and vital signs.
Set up examination and treatment rooms with the necessary instruments while ensuring proper maintenance and sterilization of supplies and equipment.
Administer injections and assist with lab tests and phlebotomy.
Support physicians during minor surgeries and physicals.
Handle phone calls to the practice and manage referrals.
Qualifications you should have:
Graduation from an accredited Medical Assisting program or a minimum of twelve months of direct clinical patient care experience.
If lacking certification upon hire, candidates must obtain Medical Assistant Certification within one year.
Active and unrevoked certification such as RMA, CCMA, CMA, NCMA, or NCRMA is highly desirable.
