contract

mobile phlebotomists to collect samples from patients in their homes or workplaces through nasal swabs or venipuncture. This role includes drawing blood samples for tests that utilize genomics and proteomics, providing unique insights into tumor biology. Testing for COVID-19 will be conducted for asymptomatic individuals or those who have recovered.

Virtual training

will be provided for all sample types and kits. NOTE:

This is a

contract position , and

payment will be issued within 30 days of invoice . EQUIPMENT: All necessary kits and draw supplies (needles, tourniquet, tubes, etc.) will be provided. Reliable transportation is essential for traveling to patients' homes or workplaces. Independent contractors must supply their

gloves ,

sharps containers , and

access to disposal services . Access to a smartphone, computer/laptop, and printer is necessary for managing orders and documentation. Applicants must have a method for receiving and securing PHI as required. RESPONSIBILITIES: Contact each patient within 24 hours of receiving an assignment. Schedule appointments promptly (within 1 to 3 days). Maintain communication with the office regarding scheduling, patient concerns, or any complications during draws. Collect specimens in strict adherence to kit instructions to guarantee accuracy in testing. Ensure samples are packed and shipped on the same day using FedEx materials supplied by the company. Issue invoices for completed draws in a timely manner. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Demonstrated expertise in phlebotomy skills, particularly in venipuncture. A minimum of one year of phlebotomy experience within the last three calendar years. Strong verbal and written communication capabilities for effective client interaction and issue resolution. Ability to offer compassionate care and support to patients who may be vulnerable due to illness. Exceptional judgment and adherence to established procedures are essential. Organizational skills for efficient patient contact, scheduling, and communication with the office. Strong time management skills to ensure timely completion of draws. Technical proficiency in managing electronic communications, including the ability to print, scan, and upload documents.
