Your role, your impact

As an Oracle ERP Pre-Sales and Solutions Senior Consultant, you’ll be responsible for providing business expertise, product expertise and appropriate technical support to assist the sales team through all stages of the sales process. In conjunction with sales reps, you’ll be responsible for helping close new business and achieving booking sales quotas. You’re expected to build and develop trusting relationships with Sales and Delivery, Oracle Sales, as well as prospects and clients to ensure effective collaboration and enhance the goal of becoming a trusted advisor to our partners.

Please note that travel to client sites is required up to 25% of the time.

Your day-to-day

Support sales in bids, proposals, and estimates. This includes, but is not limited to, discovery, estimation, sales presentations, and RFI and RFP responses; Support sales through the delivery of product and solution demonstrations. These demonstrations will include Oracle standard demos, which are custom demonstrations prepared by the solutions consultant on behalf of a prospect, and our owned business content and solutions; Support marketing in content production and delivery (typically blogs, webinars, and conference events); Engage in a limited amount of consulting activity to support delivery, such as product education, executive dashboard/report development, and assessment/strategic roadmap (business analysis) support; Collaborate with delivery to ensure estimates are timely, accurate, and actionable.

Keys to your success

Experience in Oracle Cloud Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP): Financials and/or Supply Chain Management; Strong background and understanding of financial applications; Domain knowledge in Oracle Enterprise Resource Planning applications; Strong technical knowledge, broad business skills and outstanding presentation skills; Understanding of the market space; Ability to perform under pressure and tight time constraints, as well as to maintain a positive attitude in front of the prospect or client.
