The Philanthropy Specialist will work to increase charitable gifts by building meaningful relationships with donors, focusing on mid-level donors through phone, email, and mail communications. The role aims to inspire donors to renew, maintain, or increase their donations and to cultivate new donors. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent At least 3 years of fundraising or sales experience (outbound telemarketing, inside sales) Minimum 5 years of telephone customer service experience, some sales experience considered Fundraising training a plus Key Responsibilities
Engage and solicit donations from assigned mid-level donors Identify and connect with potential donors through predictive analysis and discuss Fellowship projects Document all donor interactions in the database and provide recommendations Skills & Competencies
Experience managing a personal client or donor portfolio Understanding of donor relationship building, negotiation, and closing Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and donor databases Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong customer service and attention to detail Ability to empathize and develop long-term relationships Knowledge of Jewish and Christian beliefs and comfort with prayer Additional Information
