Position Overview:

As a 3rd year pharmacy intern, you'll have a vital role in our organization, working as part of the pharmacy team to deliver our mission while demonstrating genuine care for our patients.
Your responsibilities will include:
Ensuring patient safety and effective pharmacy practices
Understanding and adhering to regulatory requirements
Maintaining quality assurance and inventory management
Providing excellent customer service and workflow management
Key Responsibilities:
As a pharmacy intern, you will play a crucial role in promoting health through active patient care programs. Additionally, your duties will involve:
Displaying empathy and compassion for patients, customers, caregivers, and colleagues
Exploring new opportunities for growth and collaboration to achieve better health outcomes
Aligning your team around our shared purpose of compassionate health care
Encouraging a culture of enthusiasm, teamwork, and pride within the pharmacy
Education Requirements:
Accepted into or currently enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
Required Qualifications:
- Enrollment in an ACPE accredited pharmacy program
- Up to 3 years of relevant experience
- Valid intern and/or technician licensure in process
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to complete required training according to state guidelines
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to maintain regular attendance, including nights and weekends
- Capable of standing and being mobile for extended periods
- Ability to lift, scan, and package items
- Strong manual dexterity and visual acuity for detailed tasks
- Occasionally lift and exert force as required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Immunization eligibility
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
Once state regulations allow, pharmacy interns should strive to provide immunization services, an essential function of pharmacists.
Compensation:
The typical pay range for this role is $18.00 - $42.00.
