Base pay range

Looking for a Forward Deploy Engineer to join an elite onsite team in San Francisco, working side-by-side with founders, engineers, and customers to design, deploy, and refine powerful AI-driven systems. This is an execution-heavy, deeply technical, and user-facing role for someone who wants to build impactful systems and see them in production. What You’ll Be Doing Leading full-cycle customer engagements — from discovery and demos to deployment and iteration Designing and shipping production-ready AI agents and backend features Working directly with customer datasets, APIs, cloud infrastructure, and live environments Owning the entire development lifecycle including CI/CD, monitoring, tuning, and hardening Troubleshooting and debugging live systems for latency, reliability, and security Capturing real-world feedback and collaborating with the platform team to drive product direction What They’re Looking For 3–5+ years of professional engineering experience Strong Python skills and experience building backend systems Experience working in customer-facing or deployment-heavy roles A builder mindset — bonus if you’ve worked at an early-stage startup or were a founder Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to thrive in a high-ownership, fast-paced environment Python, cloud infrastructure (GCP/AWS), CI/CD pipelines Experience with large-scale data, REST APIs, and performance optimization Open to strong engineers from any background with the ability to ramp quickly Why This Role Extremely competitive compensation + equity Join a rocketship with strong investor backing and real product traction Work on real-world AI systems at scale Influence product direction and work closely with high-caliber teammates Gym membership, wellness perks, and full health/dental/vision benefits Seniority level
