Job Description Your Career The Cortex team builds and delivers the industry’s most advanced SecOps platform, including XSIAM, XSOAR, and XPANSE. As a member of the Cortex DevOps team, your role involves operating and maintaining a large-scale GCP environment, designing, implementing, and continuously enhancing our observability systems. You should have deep knowledge of modern monitoring tools and practices, managing high-cardinality metrics, implementing tracing, and operationalizing large-scale logging solutions. You will collaborate closely with engineering teams to develop solutions that provide clear, actionable insights into system performance and health. Your Impact Utilize your expertise in monitoring cloud platforms, especially GCP, to optimize our infrastructure leveraging cloud technologies. Ensure efficient resolution of system issues through incident management processes, minimizing service impact. Automate complex monitoring and alerting tasks, including automated remediation and auto-scaling. Develop and maintain deployment tools such as Terraform and Helm. Stay current with emerging technologies, evaluate their impact, and implement them when appropriate. Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 operational coverage for our SaaS products. Collaborate with engineering teams to improve product operability, reliability, and availability. Qualifications Experience managing incidents and alerts in a Site Reliability Engineering context. 4+ years of experience as a DevOps/SRE engineer passionate about high reliability. Proficiency with either Google Cloud Platform or Amazon Web Services. Strong skills with Kubernetes and Docker for container orchestration. Proficiency in Python, Linux Shell, and Terraform for infrastructure as code. Solid understanding of security concepts and best practices. Experience with observability and incident response tools. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate across teams. Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to operate independently. Compensation Disclosure Compensation depends on qualifications, experience, and location. The starting salary range is $126,000 to $203,500 per year, potentially including stock and bonuses.
