Position Summary : EVgo is hiring a Senior UI / UX Designer to create seamless and intuitive user experiences across digital platforms. This mid-level role involves collaborating with the design team and other departments to develop EVgo products. Responsibilities include conducting user research, creating user flows, journey maps, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to improve customer experience. Responsibilities : Translate concepts into user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes for various devices, focusing on native mobile applications. Maintain a strong portfolio demonstrating experience, storytelling, and design presentation skills. Ensure high-quality, polished UI designs. Collaborate with team members to foster a positive, productive environment. Maintain and develop design workflows aligned with style guides and quality standards. Review existing design systems to identify UX issues and develop recommendations. Create and maintain a UX/UI style guide for new products. Contribute to and manage design systems and component libraries. Manage projects to ensure timely delivery. Provide feedback, develop presentations, and create design assets. Pay attention to detail and manage designs through to developer handoff. Apply knowledge of HIG, Material UI, Tailwind, and other frameworks. Stay updated on design trends and identify solutions to design problems. Work within an agile environment using tools like Jira and Confluence. Ask insightful questions, take risks, and promote new ideas. Qualifications : Minimum 5 years of UI/UX design experience, with preference for mobile app and SaaS platform design experience. Desired Skills : Experience designing for HMIs, web applications, and branding is a plus. Proficiency in UX tools like Figma, Miro, Dovetail; basic HTML, CSS, Photoshop, JavaScript skills are advantageous. Experience working in startups or agencies, managing multiple projects. Ability to collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and design comprehensive user experiences. Extensive knowledge of mobile-first and responsive design best practices. Familiarity with analytical tools like Amplitude for data-driven design decisions. Salary range for CA, CO, and NYC is $95,000 to $145,000 USD, depending on experience and location.
