Summary The shipping/ Receiving Associate is responsible for packaging and shipping all out going units so they arrive undamaged at their proper destination. Unpack and distribute all incoming units. This is a Part-time position, Monday- Friday 8:30am-12:30pm. The pay range is $16.50-$17.00 an hour.
Essential duties and responsibilities
include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Opening and distribution of all incoming packages. Deliver mail between buildings & Post Office. Keep shipping and garage area clean and safe. Package and ship units daily. Keep packages sorted between carriers. Work late as deemed necessary to ensure all customer units are shipped on time. Be sure all packages shipped out of United Radio will give customers a positive and professional opinion of our company. Loading and unloading delivery trucks. Comply with United Radio's policies and procedures, and quality systems. Promote and adhere to the United Radio Core Values Perform additional duties as requested.

Education and/or experience High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Required Skills/Abilities Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Basic knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite or similar software. Basic understanding of mathematical concepts. Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability and desire to learn new skills. Detail oriented. Ability to work independently as well as with a team. Prioritize duties and responsibilities appropriately.
Total compensation for this role is market competitive. The anticipated salary range for this position based out of Syracuse, NY is estimated hourly rate between $16.50 and $17. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s experience, skills, and abilities, geographic location as well as other business and organizational needs.
