IBM Maximo Project Manager

to support enterprise-wide facility operations through project management and optimization of IBM Maximo for a federal client. The ideal candidate will have experience with large-scale maintenance systems, strong analytical skills, and a passion for improving operational efficiency through technology and agile project management. Responsibilities include: Support integration efforts between CMMS and other platforms (e.g., building automation systems, energy tracking tools). Provide data support, quality assurance, and loading for building data including locations, equipment lists, and preventive maintenance. Manage business line projects from initiatives down to building-level projects. Lead planning, configuration, and deployment of Maximo across multiple sites or business units. Coordinate with IT, facilities, and operations teams to ensure Maximo aligns with organizational workflows and maintenance strategies. Manage system upgrades, patches, and integrations with third-party platforms (e.g., BAS, ERP, energy management systems). Develop and maintain project timelines, resource plans, and risk mitigation strategies for Maximo initiatives. Oversee data migration and validation during system transitions or onboarding of new facilities. Establish and enforce data governance standards for Maximo modules. Collaborate with vendors and consultants to implement customizations, troubleshoot issues, and optimize system performance. Monitor system usage and performance metrics to identify opportunities for process improvement and automation. Provide executive-level reporting and dashboards on project status, KPIs, and ROI. Ensure compliance with organizational policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements related to maintenance and asset management. The core qualifications include: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Facilities Management, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field. 3+ years of related experience for Junior level. 7+ years for Mid-level. 10+ years for Senior level. At least 3 years of experience in project management and supporting IBM Maximo. Experience supporting federal agencies, preferably GSA. Strong understanding of facility operations, preventive maintenance, and asset management. Excellent communication, documentation, and training skills. Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
