We are hiring for a Senior Azure Cloud Engineer in our Platform Engineering team. The ideal candidate has strong technical expertise, a product mindset, and a code-first approach to engineering best practices. You will help design and implement our technical architecture, governance, and tooling used to deliver and operate the First American Cloud. Experience with Azure Networking, Security, PaaS platforms, and Governance is essential, with the ability to customize these to keep our business secure and efficient.
What You'll Do
Technical Ownership:
End-to-end ownership of user stories, risk assessment, documentation of best practices, and infrastructure deployment strategies.
Quality & Security Focused:
Drive implementation of cloud resources that meet all quality and security standards.
Continuous Advancement:
Support the team in achieving goals through regular feedback and ongoing platform improvements.
What You'll Bring
At least 5 years of experience with Azure Cloud.
Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and scripting with PowerShell, Bash, ARM.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps, Github Enterprise, or Gitlab.
Knowledge of infrastructure automation tools like Terraform or OpenTofu.
Experience with Azure SDKs and CLI.
Expertise in Azure services such as AKS, Application Gateways, and App Service Environments.
Understanding of git workflows like GitFlow and trunk-based development.
Experience working in regulated industries like Financial Services or Healthcare.
