We are seeking modelers to assess the feasibility of ideas, refine existing concepts, and seed new ones. You will specify new micro-architecture and optimize existing ones, using your experience and intuition as a guide. The role involves analyzing specific workloads across various product categories to identify bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement. As a member of the GPU micro-architecture team, you will collaborate to improve processes and enhance team efficiency. Minimum Qualifications

Experience with CPU or GPU architecture and micro-architecture concepts Experience in areas such as cache, memory subsystem, on-chip interconnect network, data compression, or GPU pipeline Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of relevant experience Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of C/C++ Experience with scripting languages like Perl, Python, or Ruby Proficiency in high-performance, low-power design Proficiency in Verilog/SystemVerilog and HDL Hands-on experience with RTL or architectural modeling Ability to work in uncertain environments and navigate ambiguities Strong communication, influence, and negotiation skills At Apple, base pay is part of a total compensation package, determined within a range based on skills, qualifications, experience, and location. The pay range for this role is $181,100 to $318,400. Employees may also participate in stock programs, receive benefits including medical and dental coverage, retirement plans, discounts, and educational reimbursements.
