CMA requires Court Reporting Services for Grand Jury and Deposition.
Education/Experience: The Court Reporter shall hold the certification as a National Court Reports Association (NCRA) Registered Professional Reporter (RPR), or equivalent.
Duties/Responsibilities: Grand Jury Testimony and Deposition Transcripts shall be typed in an original and delivered within the turnaround times set forth. All regular transcripts will be completed and delivered on or before the 10th business day after the date a witness testifies in the Grand Jury. A regular transcript shall be delivered for each witness testimony when requested on or before the 10th business day after the request is received. Intermediate transcripts shall be completed and delivered on or before the 5th business day after the request is received. Daily Grand Jury transcripts shall be delivered before 9:30am of the following business day after the conclusion of a day's proceedings. expedited transcripts shall be delivered by 9:00pm the same day of the proceedings. Proceedings are scheduled for 9am-12pm and 1pm-5pm with a one hour lunch break. The Court Reporter is guaranteed payment of a minimum of three hours. All proceedings shall be recorded and A read back capability is required.
