Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
to join our executive leadership team. Reporting directly to the CEO, the CFO is a key strategic partner responsible for ensuring financial health and sustainability. The CFO leads a team of 12 in the Business and Administrative Office and collaborates closely with the CEO, Associate Executive Directors, and the Board to support long-term growth, operational effectiveness, and mission alignment. This high-impact role provides both visionary leadership and hands-on management in financial planning, risk assessment, budgeting, compliance, and systems development. Key Responsibilities Lead the development of short and long-term financial plans aligned with agency priorities. Oversee the full budget cycle: design, implementation, monitoring, and variance analysis. Guide cost control strategies and identify opportunities for revenue enhancement. Provide actionable insight to leadership on the financial implications of agency initiatives. Ensure compliance with all government funding requirements, audit standards, and financial reporting mandates. Supervise business office operations, including accounting, contracting, benefits administration, MIS planning, and risk management. Serve as liaison to banks, insurers, and regulatory agencies, and manage agency investment and capital planning processes. What We’re Looking For A Master's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance with a minimum of 3 years of senior financial leadership experience;
or
a Bachelor's degree with at least 10 years of financial management experience. Proven leadership in nonprofit finance, government contracts, and multi-source funding environments. Strategic thinking with a strong command of fiscal operations, budgeting, and compliance. Collaborative style with the ability to lead teams and work across departments. Passion for mission-driven work and advancing the inclusion of people with disabilities.
