1 day ago Be among the first 25 applicants Compensation : $170,000–$200,000 base + bonus We’re partnering with a global investment platform to identify an income tax leader to lead strategic tax initiatives across multiple investment structures and funds. This role offers the opportunity to serve as a subject matter expert on real estate tax matters, manage investor communications, and advise on investment structures, transactions, and reporting matters. You’ll support the firm’s investment strategy while working with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring tax efficiency and compliance. Take ownership of technical tax oversight for a diverse portfolio of domestic and international real estate investments. Work cross-functionally with senior leadership, legal, finance, and fund teams in a high-visibility role. Responsibilities Provide strategic tax oversight for real estate investment structures and vehicles (REITs, partnerships, joint ventures). Review tax positions and coordinate with outside advisors on tax reporting and compliance matters. Advise on tax implications of acquisitions, dispositions, financings, and restructurings. Partner with internal legal, accounting, and investment teams to manage risk and maintain tax compliance. Support ongoing improvements in tax processes and technology. Requirements: 7+ years of tax experience, with a strong foundation in real estate, either from public accounting or a real estate investment firm. Deep knowledge of partnership tax, REIT structures, and U.S. federal and state tax implications. CPA or JD preferred. Seniority level
