Contract Manager (Contracts Manager & Procurement)
Chicago, IL | $140K–$150K + Full Benefits
We're working with a leading joint venture on one of the most ambitious transit projects in Chicago’s history - a $3B design-build rail extension.
They're looking for a C ontract Manager
to take charge of the commercial, contractual, and administrative aspects of the project’s design phase. This is a high-impact role for someone with a solid background in contract management, especially on major infrastructure or joint venture projects. What you’ll be doing: Managing the Designer JV contract, including letters, claims, change orders, and invoicing. Supporting the Technical Manager with engineering support during construction (ESDC). Overseeing both client and internal contractual responsibilities tied to the design scope. What you’ll need: A legal or civil engineering Master’s degree. At least 5 years of experience handling contract administration with designers or major subs. Strong technical understanding of design & build projects. Experience working on large-scale joint ventures. Excellent communication, organization, and commercial awareness. Valid driver’s license. Nice to have: Experience working in multicultural environments.
