HHAeXchange is seeking an experienced AI Software Engineer to join the Enterprise Applications Team, reporting to the Senior Director of IT and Enterprise Applications. This role will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying AI and GenAI solutions across our corporate applications and enterprise platforms. The primary objective of the role is to accelerate the optimization of business processes and enterprise systems by building AI agents and enterprise automations across all business functions (commercial; back-office; operations; engineering). This role will identify, prototype, deploy and scale AI technologies and solutions that drive efficiencies and optimize business processes across the organization. The ideal candidate has strong software engineering experience, exposure to and in-depth understanding of general business processes, a passion for AI technologies, and hands-on expertise with modern generative AI models such as ChatGPT, Claude, AWS Bedrock, or similar platforms. The ability to bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions is an absolute must, to include working with various business leaders and stakeholders to identify and act on opportunities for AI-driven transformation and innovation. Essential Job Duties

Business Partnership Partner with business leaders and stakeholder to understand challenges, identify AI opportunities and implement AI/GenAI solutions. Promote AI best practices to the organization by staying abreast of AI tools and methodologies. Stay current on advancements in AI/ML, LLMs, and enterprise automation technologies to guide future development strategies. Develop strategic frameworks and roadmaps for AI initiatives aligned with business goals. Drive AI and Data literacy across the organization through training, workshops, demonstrations and other educational initiatives. Engineering and Development Lead the ideation, prototyping, deployment, and scaling of AI/GenAI technologies and agentic solutions tailored to business needs across enterprise systems (Finance, HR, Legal, IT, Technical Customer Care). Automate complex workflows and processes by integrating AI models with existing business platforms (e.g., Microsoft Office 365, Atlassian, Salesforce, Oracle NetSuite, etc.). Evaluate and fine-tune AI models to ensure alignment with business needs, ethical standards, and security requirements. Develop and maintain APIs and integrations between AI tools and enterprise applications. Governance and Compliance Champion best practices in AI/ML and GenAI development including responsible AI, privacy, security, and ethical guidelines. Develop and implement AI best practices and ethical guidelines for the organization. Stay current on advancements in AI/ML, LLMs, and enterprise automation technologies to guide future development strategies. Document technical solutions, ensuring maintainability and adherence to compliance standards. Other Job Duties

Travel up to 10%, including overnight travel Required Education, Experience, Certifications and Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science (or related field). 5 years of professional experience in a technical role, with hands-on experience building end-to-end prototypes using GenAI tools (GPTs, Hugging Face, open source LLMs, LangChain, Scikit-learn, etc.). Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, C#, or Java). Advanced proficiency in programming and data engineering within cloud-based AI solutions (AWS, GCP, Azure). Must demonstrate hands-on approach to learning new and unfamiliar processes and systems. Ability to architect and deploy enterprise-scale AI solutions, collaborating across various departments and with various business leaders to ensure adoption and achieve measurable ROI. Able to source, clean, and transform raw and imperfect data from various sources including spreadsheets, enterprise systems, API endpoints, etc. and assemble this data into structured inputs for AI experiments and prototypes. Experience working with REST APIs, webhooks, and cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Technical familiarity with enterprise applications (ERP, CRM, ITSM systems). Strategic thinker with very strong analytical and problem solving skills, capable of driving outcomes through AI/GenAI. Preferred Qualifications: Experience developing conversational AI agentic solutions or virtual assistants. Understanding of AI ethics, responsible AI, and data privacy principles. Exposure to automation frameworks (e.g., Power Automate, UiPath, or similar). Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices. The base salary range for this US-based, full-time, and exempt position is $120,000-150,000/yr not including variable compensation. An employee’s exact starting salary will be based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, merit, location, and the ability to exemplify the HHAeXchange core values. This is a benefits-eligible position.
