What to Expect
Tesla is seeking a Logistics Yard Associate to work within one of the most innovative vehicle distribution models globally. Ideal candidates should have a keen eye for detail, the ability to provide quick and strategic solutions, manage large-scale plans, adapt to sudden changes, tackle complex challenges, and communicate effectively both orally and in writing. We are looking for self-motivated team players committed to delivering an excellent customer experience by transporting Tesla products from the factory to delivery centers. A positive attitude and strong determination are essential to help us build an advanced vehicle distribution network capable of supporting Tesla's rapid growth. What You'll Do
Collaborate closely with the logistics yard team and dispatch to ensure clear communication and understanding of all yard processes, procedures, and dispatch systems such as WARP. Ensure all Third-Party Carriers and Tesla Drivers comply with safety, quality, driving, operations, and other Tesla Yard SOPs. Manage lane flow efficiently using provided tools to move vehicles as needed. Perform yard inventories, track all vehicles, and work with dispatch to minimize dwelling cars. Drive performance improvements with Tesla logistics partners and internal teams. Generate detailed reports for stakeholders, report discrepancies, and suggest process improvements to enhance productivity. What You'll Bring
2-5 years of supply chain or yard management experience demonstrating exceptional ability. Automotive freight trucking experience preferred. Strong communication skills. Proficiency in Excel and other database systems. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate across multiple teams. Compensation and Benefits
