Part-Time 3rd Shift Shelter Staff Member
(11:30 PM–8:00 AM, 2 shifts per week / 16 hours total) to help keep our Young Adult Shelter running smoothly through the night and into the early morning. This is more than an overnight shift—it’s about making the shelter a place where young people feel welcomed, supported, and safe, even in the quietest hours. What You’ll Do: Conduct regular safety checks throughout the night to ensure a secure environment.
Provide a warm and respectful wake-up for residents, assist with morning routines, and coordinate safe departures.
Oversee breakfast service, making sure the day starts with nourishment and care.
Uphold shelter safety protocols while promoting dignity and mutual respect.
Help bridge the transition between the shelter and our drop-in center each morning.
Who You Are: Reliable, calm, and adaptable, with a heart for supporting youth and young adults.
Able to balance safety responsibilities with genuine human connection.
Guided by a youth-centered, trauma-informed approach to care.
