Senior Financial Analyst
to join our Culver City-based team, focusing on talent and studio-to-studio reporting, systems development, and library conversion projects. This role requires a self-starter capable of quickly learning the mechanics of global production, mastering financial systems, analyzing complex agreements, validating financial data, and creating bespoke statements. The analyst will assist in enhancing systems and converting the MGM library into a new reporting environment, supporting divisions such as Amazon Originals, Prime Video, MGM+, and others. The candidate must prepare detailed financial analyses, present findings to colleagues and leadership, and collaborate across teams in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication, analytical skills, organization, and strategic thinking are essential. Key Responsibilities
Interface with automated reporting and financial subsystems Manage tasks in workflow tools Generate and validate reports on the MGM Studios catalog, including Prime Video and MGM+ titles Oversee general ledger activities Coordinate with Business Affairs and Legal on deal setup and contracts Manage outbound payments and respond to third-party inquiries Prepare documentation for audits Support intra-department reporting and system enhancements Basic Qualifications
3+ years in finance or related analytical fields Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related discipline Preferred Qualifications
Degree in accounting, computer science, economics, finance, or mathematics Strong research, analysis, and communication skills Advanced MS Excel skills Motivated, proactive, and self-sufficient Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently or collaboratively Experience with participation/royalty reporting systems Amazon is an equal opportunity employer.
