The company is a leading producer and supplier of industrial, consumer, and technical threads, as well as woven fabrics. Rather than manufacturing end-use products, such as garments, Elevate focuses on manufacturing essential components used across various end-use markets-including cut-and-sew operations, the automotive and aviation industries, bedding manufacturers, global branded apparel companies, distributors, and more. The company operates a portfolio of premium textile brands including American & Efird (A&E), Burlington, Cone, Gutermann, and Safety Components.

The company is looking for a Vice President Global Treasury & Risk, reporting to the Chief Financial Officer.

Position Overview

The Vice President Global Treasury & Risk reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer. The position is responsible for overseeing daily U.S. liquidity management, global cash flow forecasting and repatriation strategies, debt agreements, banking relationships, foreign exchange risk management, and the Company's global insurance programs-including property, casualty, management liability, and specialty lines. The Vice President Global Treasury & Risk will also serve as a member of the Company's investment committee. This role involves regular interaction with senior leadership and finance leaders across our global business units. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, sound judgment, and the ability to communicate recommendations clearly and effectively in support of the Company's financial goals. This opportunity is available due to the planned retirement of the current incumbent, allowing for a structured transition and knowledge transfer.

The Vice President Global Treasury & Risk will be responsible for the following primary activities:

Efficiently managing daily U.S. liquidity with the treasury team based in Charlotte and Greensboro.

Understanding and calculating a borrowing base.

Reviewing calculated leverage and financial covenants for accuracy.

Maintaining and updating the 26-week global cash flow model.

Reviewing capital structure, cash flows of foreign subsidiaries, and foreign debt agreements with the goal to repatriate as much cash as possible to the U.S.

Analyzing, recommending and executing interest rate locks to reduce the cost of capital.

Negotiating, reviewing, recommending, and executing standby and documentary letters of credit.

Calculating long and short currency positions and recommending and executing plan cash flow foreign exchange hedging via a bid system with major banks.

Routinely collaborating with professionals from our credit, AP, tax, legal, financial reporting, procurement, HR, payroll and FP&A departments in execution of duties.

Occasionally collaborating and providing guidance with other shared service departments with regard to all treasury and risk related business decisions and opportunities.

Assisting in building and reviewing annual global forecasted cash flows.

Performing variance analysis on cash flow forecasting.

Ability to calculate KPI's such as DSO, DOI, DPO.

Completing and reviewing weekly, monthly and annual reports for management.

Understanding intercompany relationships and using the legal structure to drive intercompany movement of cash.

Understanding and critiquing benefit plans as a member of the investment committee.

In addition to the primary list of responsibilities above, the Vice President Global Treasury & Risk will be involved in special projects such as strategic acquisitions and divestitures, liquidity enhancing initiatives, implementation of supply chain finance programs, ad-hoc modeling, new banking relationships, and regular reviews of other opportunities to enhance enterprise value for the owners. The position will also play a key role supporting the Company as a whole in educating colleagues throughout the Company about new financing opportunities, liquidity and capital repatriation opportunities, and being a subject matter expert from start to finish on all initiatives undertaken through a teamwork effort.

Job Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting (Master's degree a plus)

Minimum of 10 years of relevant global treasury and risk experience

Experience in global manufacturing operations

Experience with Excel, Word, Power Point, CashPro, SharePoint and Business Intelligence,

Experience developing annual plan financial statements and cash flows

Experience developing and managing cash flow forecasting

Experience with foreign currency cash flow hedging, net investment hedging, interest rate hedging and arbitrage

Experience with global risk management insurance implementation

Experience working with senior bank personnel

Experience operating within a shared business services environment
