As the global process owner for mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and an Agile Consulting Lead for initiatives across Global Human Resources (GHR), you will be responsible for overseeing, designing, and optimizing the end-to-end M&A process and leading high priority, complex, cross-functional initiatives. This position will ensure alignment of M&A strategies with organizational objectives, drive process standardization, and ensure seamless integration of acquired businesses. The role requires collaboration with the HR Business Partners (HRBP) and HR Country Heads, cross-functional teams, key stakeholders, and senior leadership to program manage the M&A portfolio from due diligence to post-integration. Key Responsibilities Reporting to the Agile Team Lead and Senior HRBP for Corporate Functions, State Street Investment Management and Global Markets, program manage the M&A portfolio, design and improve the M&A processes globally, and lead strategic Agile consulting engagements Partner with stakeholders across GHR to ensure effective and timely execution of Agile initiatives, M&A transactions and workforce integration, tailored to local jurisdiction requirements (e.g., workforce administration, HR policies, Works Councils / Unions, etc.) Manage and improve the GHR M&A Playbook and associated tools and templates needed for transparency and consistent execution Partner with GHR M&A Leads (e.g., HRBP or Country Head) to understand deal rationale / business case, terms and conditions, GHR requirements (e.g., retention programs), and impacts (e.g., organizational structure, culture, compensation and benefits) Partner with GHR M&A Leads to ensure effective project planning, change management, communications and completion of deliverables aligned to the GHR M&A Playbook Partner with GHR M&A Leads to ensure due diligence identifies HR risks and opportunities, (e.g., labor expenses, severance, benefits, employee relation issues and culture) Partner with GHR M&A Leads and Internal Communications to develop the overall communications plan for the transition for GHR staff and the broader organization Partner with legal, finance, IT and other functions to align M&A processes and ensure smooth execution and compliance with legal, financial, and regulatory requirements Report on the status of the M&A portfolio, key activities and integration progress Conduct after action reviews post integration to determine what worked well, what could have gone better Employ a consultative approach to Agile consulting engagements with a focus on transformation, innovative and effective solutions, and leveraging data and analytics Execute Agile consulting engagements with strong project management discipline, including effective planning, stakeholder management, communications, scope management, status reporting, and risk management Job Requirements and Qualifications 6-8 years of experience in business consulting / transformation initiatives, process design and management Expertise in M&A and Human Resources disciplines, processes, systems and policies in a global context Complex program management, business acumen, finance, and analytical skills Strong influencing, relationship management and collaborative skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Comfortable working in an environment with tight deadlines and significant level of ambiguity and competing priorities Demonstrated good judgement, problem assessment, solutioning and decision-making capabilities Salary Range: $130,000 - $212,500 Annual The range quoted above applies to the role in the location specified.
