We are seeking a

Lead HVAC Installer – Residential

to join our growing HVAC Division. This hands-on leader will

oversee and execute residential HVAC installations

with the support of a helper or junior technician. You’ll install, commission, and troubleshoot high-efficiency systems—primarily

heat pumps, mini-splits, and conversions from gas/oil to electric

. You’ll work with a tight-knit team committed to technical excellence, customer satisfaction, and a clean-energy future. What You’ll Do

Lead 2-person residential installation crews across central Maryland, DC, and Northern Virginia Install and commission new HVAC systems: heat pumps (ducted/ductless), ACs, furnaces, water heaters, and heat pump water heaters Retrofit older homes—removing gas/oil equipment and installing cold-climate heat pump systems Interpret job scopes, perform quality control, and ensure all systems meet code and manufacturer specs Communicate professionally with customers and team members on-site Maintain accurate time, material, and commissioning logs Follow all company safety protocols and lead by example What We’re Looking For

3+ years of residential HVAC installation experience EPA 608 Certification (required) Journeyman HVAC license (preferred but not required) Strong knowledge of heat pump systems, ductwork, and system commissioning Ability to lead and mentor junior staff Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (DOT physical required) Comfortable using tablets and apps for job documentation What We Offer
