ABOUT WALMART CONNECT Walmart Connect is Walmart’s advertising platform for brands, designed to reach hundreds of millions of U.S. shoppers across their shopping journey. We connect shopping behaviors to transactions and help suppliers understand how marketing drives results. WHAT WE ARE SEEKING Walmart Connect seeks a seasoned event producer to join our B2B Brand and Enterprise Sales Marketing team. The role supports our mission to become a top ad platform for brands of all sizes. This position is part of a small team responsible for Walmart Connect's event strategy and logistics. The ideal candidate will have media industry experience in planning, managing, and executing various event activations, including client entertaining, VIP dinners, conference sponsorships, and large summits. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Own end-to-end logistics for annual events as assigned. Design event activations to meet business objectives. Create and manage event planning timelines, coordinate with various teams, and ensure deadlines are met. Build key relationships for collaboration, aligning stakeholders around event visions. Coordinate event communications, branding, venue sourcing, vendor negotiations, registration, on-site management, post-event follow-up, and budget management. Act as on-site leader during events, troubleshoot, and support attendees. Continuously improve event outcomes based on post-event analysis. REQUIREMENTS Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Hospitality, Business, or related field, with 3+ years in communications, project, or event management, or 5+ years of relevant experience. 2+ years of supervisory or cross-functional team leadership experience. Strong organizational, communication, and negotiation skills. Experience in the media industry is a plus. Ability to travel for events.
