A well-funded and fast-growing AI startup based in San Francisco is seeking a

Full Stack Software Engineer

to join its core product engineering team. The company is building AI-powered “digital employees” designed to autonomously handle complex, knowledge-based tasks across platforms like email, Slack, Zoom, and more. You’ll play a key role in developing mission-critical features in a full-stack TypeScript environment (React/Next.js + Node.js), with a strong focus on backend engineering and distributed systems. This is a high-ownership, fast-paced environment with minimal red tape and maximum autonomy—ideal for builders who thrive on taking features from idea to production. What You’ll Be Doing

Build and ship high-impact features across the entire stack with urgency and care Take complete ownership of projects from spec to rollout, including testing and observability Collaborate closely with founders, PMs, designers, and engineers on product vision and execution Navigate trade-offs between speed, scale, and maintainability in a dynamic environment Contribute to backend architecture, infrastructure, and scalable systems design What Success Looks Like

Delivering reliable, maintainable, and performant code quickly Owning end-to-end responsibility for the features you build Making thoughtful product and technical decisions with minimal oversight Helping shape a high-performance engineering culture You Might Be a Fit If You Have:

3–8 years of experience as a full stack engineer, ideally with a 70/30 backend/frontend split Experience in fast-paced, product-driven environments Strong background in Node.js, TypeScript, and building distributed systems A proactive, startup mentality with high standards and strong product instincts A desire to work in-person with a high-caliber, focused team in San Francisco Languages/Frameworks:

TypeScript, Node.js, Next.js, React, GraphQL 4–5 days per week in-office (Wednesday is optional) Small, elite team (~35 people) with a strong culture of speed, ownership, and high standards About the Company
