General Description :

The Premier Account Executive is responsible for providing comprehensive risk management and insurance consultation for high net worth individuals and family offices. The role involves partnering with Private Risk Advisors, onboarding new clients with complex insurance portfolios, and conducting annual/semiannual reviews. The position requires evaluating client assets and exposures, recommending coverage levels, and negotiating premiums with carriers, while adhering to USI's service standards and Best Practices. Responsibilities : Maintain at least 95% client account retention through proactive engagement, including contacting clients who have moved their business via Broker of Record letter to understand reasons for loss. Provide technical expertise on insurance coverage and products, staying updated on industry changes, and supporting new and existing clients through cross-selling, account development, and problem solving in line with USI values and standards. Conduct annual or semi-annual client meetings as requested. Manage the USI New Business Process: establish communication plans, review policies for accuracy, deliver welcome packets, and coordinate corrections with clients and carriers. Oversee the client pre-renewal process: review coverage, claims history, and risks; prepare and present renewal proposals, including market overview and recommendations; and facilitate renewal meetings with clients and advisors. Collaborate with other Premier Client Advisors for technical support and market insights. Execute policy renewals, issue proof of insurance, and manage policy deliveries or cancellations to prevent coverage lapses. Respond promptly and professionally to underwriter inquiries. Maintain high accuracy in agency management and documentation systems. Guide clients in submitting claims reports and facilitate prompt carrier responses. Identify potential losses and recommend coverage adjustments or mitigation strategies. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities : 8-10 years of experience in Personal Lines Property & Casualty Insurance, with a thorough understanding of coverages, underwriting, and rating. High school diploma required; college degree preferred. Valid state Property & Casualty insurance license required. Industry designations such as ARM, CIC, CPCU, CPRIA are preferred; ongoing education to pursue such designations is encouraged. Strong communication skills, both written and oral. Ability to manage complex tasks with multiple variables. Proficiency with internet-based programs and intermediate Microsoft Office skills; knowledge of Sagitta / WorkSmart is a plus. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision, ensuring accuracy. Effective prioritization and workflow management. Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with clients, colleagues, carriers, and vendors. Commitment to continuous industry knowledge improvement.
