The Position
The Vice President, National Excellence Strategy, will lead enterprise-wide initiatives to develop and implement a comprehensive strategy aimed at securing and sustaining a Top Ten U.S. News & World Report designation. Reporting to the Executive Vice President, Chief Strategy Officer, the VP will drive interdepartmental collaboration, lead key committee meetings, and identify opportunities for impactful process improvement initiatives. Additionally, this leader will oversee reporting to U.S. News & World Report and prepare the organization’s Annual Outcomes Report. Ideal candidates will bring strong project management experience, complemented by completed Agile or Lean Six Sigma training. Must be a collaborative team player with excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively across diverse teams. A deep understanding of process improvement methodologies is essential, along with the ability to remain composed and consider all perspectives. Prior experience in an academic setting and familiarity with research and data analytics are highly desirable.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree required. Lean Six Sigma certification strongly preferred. Requires a minimum of seven years of progressive leadership experience in a healthcare setting, ideally leading large process improvement projects.
