About the Role As a CBRE Global Procurement Director, you will oversee the planning and direction of procurement within the Industrial & Logistics sector.
This role involves sourcing and purchasing goods, services, or raw materials from vendors and suppliers.
What You’ll Do
Lead global procurement across 80+ manufacturing sites, focusing on EMEA and AMS regions.
Drive strategic procurement integration for acquired brands.
Lead organizational change initiatives across global sites.
Assess team structure, optimize workload, and lead effectively.
Apply technical procurement expertise in growth and acquisition contexts.
Communicate procurement strategies clearly and compellingly.
Champion continuous improvement using lean principles.
Manage and develop team performance through supervision, training, and mentoring.
Assist with creating and implementing organizational policies and procedures.
Develop regional sourcing strategies aligned with organizational goals.
Manage procurement budget and vendor relationships.
Resolve vendor disputes and develop organizational requirements for goods and services.
Negotiate with external partners to reach mutually beneficial agreements.
Identify and solve operational and organizational problems.
Improve existing methods, processes, and standards.
What You’ll Need
Bachelor's Degree preferred, with 8-12 years of relevant experience; certifications such as C.P.M., C.P.S.M., or N.A.C.M. required or eligible.
Experience in staffing, training, coaching, and performance management preferred.
Strong communication skills for conveying performance expectations and resolving issues.
Leadership skills to set and achieve targets impacting multiple departments.
In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
Organizational skills and a proactive demeanor.
