VACATION RENTALS GENERAL MANAGER

Position Summary: The Vacation Rentals General Manager (GM) at Sand Hollow Resort in scenic Hurricane, UT will lead and oversee the day-to-day operations of the vacation rentals, which comprise over 160 properties, including luxury homes, condos, and suites. This leadership role is responsible for managing guest services, housekeeping, resort maintenance, owner relations, revenue optimization, and marketing. The GM will drive operational excellence, team performance, owner satisfaction, and financial success. Key Responsibilities: Operations & Revenue Management Oversee the daily operations of all vacation rental properties, guest services, resort maintenance, and housekeeping Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency, quality, and superior guest and owner satisfaction Enforce policies and procedures to streamline workflow and enhance team accountability Monitor occupancy, average daily rate (ADR), and revenue per available rental (RevPAR) metrics, adjusting strategies as needed Guest Experience Lead the guest service team to deliver outstanding hospitality and rapid issue resolution Handle escalated guest concerns with professionalism and a solution-oriented mindset Ensure that all rental units meet or exceed cleanliness and readiness standards Team Leadership Hire, lead, train, and mentor department managers and their respective teams Foster a positive and accountable team culture focused on service excellence and continuous improvement Ensure proper staffing levels during peak and off-peak seasons Conduct regular performance reviews and team development initiatives Owner Relations Serve as the main point of contact for property owners; maintain strong relationships through regular updates and performance reporting Ensure timely and accurate owner statements and income distributions Collaborate with owners on property improvements and rental readiness standards Financial Oversight Develop and manage the department budget; control costs while maximizing revenue Manage departmental expenses to ensure alignment with budgetary goals Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), guest reviews, and profitability metrics Identify and pursue new revenue opportunities within the rental portfolio Marketing Management Collaborate with the Marketing team to promote properties across various platforms Develop and implement strategies to maximize occupancy, ADR, and RevPAR Oversee pricing model and booking channels, including direct, OTA, and group bookings Monitor competitive landscape and market trends to inform strategic decisions Compliance & Maintenance Ensure compliance with local regulations, HOA guidelines, and resort policies Coordinate with resort maintenance and housekeeping teams, and/or vendors to address repairs and preventative upkeep Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field (preferred) 5+ years of experience in hospitality or vacation rental management, with at least 2 years in a senior leadership role Knowledge of the local vacation rental market and tourism industry Experience working within a resort or mixed-use property setting Strong leadership and team-building capabilities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in property management systems (PMS), booking platforms, and revenue management tools Proven success in managing budgets, team performance, and guest satisfaction metrics Analytical mindset with a focus on customer service and operational efficiency Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Compensation Package Includes: · Salary, DOE · Paid Time Off (PTO) · Health Insurance · Dental Insurance · Vision Insurance · 401(k) · Employee discounts for food, golf, golf merchandise, and concerts Qualifications
