The House Monitor for the Booth Home Senior Bridge Housing program provides general oversight of residents and rooms, assists with check-ins and discharges of residents, and evaluates and reports on residents' conditions to the Program Coordinator. This position also involves completing documentation and tracking residents' progress upon discharge and follow-ups. The Booth Home Senior Bridge Housing program houses 15 male and female clients with mental health diagnoses. Candidates must be available to work at least one morning, swing, and graveyard shift per week, as scheduled. Essential Functions

Provide professional, compassionate, and safe care for all residents. Respond promptly and courteously to clients’ needs. Perform all duties respectfully, maintaining clients' and staff's sense of self-worth. Monitor clients regularly to ensure a safe, quiet, and friendly environment; conduct house rounds periodically. Explain rules and procedures to clients and ensure policy adherence respectfully. Complete intake forms and records; establish individual resident files for new intakes. Follow all policies and procedures of Booth Home Senior Bridge Housing and The Salvation Army. Assist Case Manager with data entry and documentation, including intake forms, resident files, and discharge documentation. Complete daily logs, gather signatures, and provide shift handover reports to the next shift and Case Manager. Document and report any unusual occurrences, incidents, or injuries. Ensure common areas and hallways are free of obstructions and hazards. Coordinate with staff to adhere to safety and security measures. Maintain security inside and outside the building. Respond promptly to emergency situations. Maintain resident confidentiality at all times. Assist Case Manager with documentation and tracking residents upon discharge. Answer and direct incoming calls professionally. Assist with meal serving, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner; clean up and ensure compliance with food and health codes. Perform daily cleaning of common areas, including kitchens and bathrooms, and handle room turnovers, laundry, and donations. Work flexible hours, including irregular shifts as needed. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or management. Working Conditions

Work involves office and field environments, site travel, exposure to computer screens and weather conditions, potential work in confined spaces, and public contact. Physical requirements include walking, standing, bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, twisting, grasping, pushing, pulling, reaching overhead, and lifting up to 25 lbs. The position requires vaccination against COVID-19 or an approved exemption. Minimum Qualifications

Background check required. High School Diploma or GED required; A.A. or B.A./B.S. preferred. Valid CPR/First Aid and Food Handler Certifications. Skills, Knowledge & Abilities

Understanding issues related to homelessness, mental health, and chronic illness. Ability to obtain annual TB testing and complete required Salvation Army trainings. Ability to identify safety hazards and monitor behavior, enforcing safety and emergency procedures. Flexibility, leadership, conflict resolution, and effective communication skills.
