You’ll be responsible for overseeing a diverse portfolio of creative projects across consumer products, pharmaceutical brands, and digital campaigns. Reporting to agency leadership, you will drive team performance, strategic project delivery, and ongoing process improvement to ensure agency growth, profitability and client satisfaction.

What You’ll Be Doing Leading with Strategy & Vision Lead the agency’s project management discipline, establishing, training and documenting best practices in workflow, resource allocation, and operational efficiency. Collaborate with executive leadership to refine project management strategy and support agency goals in consumer, pharma, and digital verticals. Contribute to business development efforts through scoping, resourcing, and ensuring project execution aligns with overall agency vision. Bringing Projects to Life Oversee planning, coordination, and on-time delivery of integrated campaigns—spanning broadcast, print, digital, and social—for major consumer and pharmaceutical clients. Develop, manage, and optimize project schedules, budgets, and resource plans; anticipate and resolve risks or bottlenecks early in the process. Establish and maintain project scope, deliverables, and quality standards, ensuring all creative output meets both client needs and agency benchmarks for excellence. Partnering with Clients Serve as senior contact for high-profile project clients, ensuring clear communication and transparency on project status, changes, and expectations. Lead client meetings from onboarding through delivery, gathering requirements and translating complex goals into actionable roadmaps for teams. Proactively manage client feedback, approvals, and satisfaction at every project milestone. Building & Growing Teams Foster a culture of mentorship and growth, helping project managers and coordinators develop skills in creative, digital, and regulated (pharma) environments. Drive a collaborative, high-performing team culture; facilitate cross-disciplinary teamwork and encourage creative solutions to challenges. Champion the adoption of new technologies and processes to streamline agency operations and enhance output quality. Develop and monitor project budgets, actively managing costs while ensuring high-quality delivery. Oversee resource utilization to maximize both financial performance and staff well-being. Lead project reviews to ensure creative and technical quality meet regulatory requirements (especially in pharma) and brand standards. What You Bring to the Table Bachelor’s degree or higher (Marketing, Communications, PM, or related). PMP or similar certification a plus. 8+ years project management experience in a creative, marketing, or ad agency; 3+ years in a director/senior management capacity. Deep understanding of project management methodologies applicable to creative, digital, and/or highly regulated pharmaceutical work. Demonstrated ability to build, lead, and mentor multi-disciplinary teams across the agency landscape. Proven track record overseeing integrated campaigns delivered on time, within scope and budget, in a fast-paced agency environment. Exceptional organizational, negotiation, and conflict resolution abilities. Outstanding client relationship and communication skills, with experience managing senior client stakeholders. Ability to thrive under deadline pressure, juggling multiple priorities across channels. Even Better If You Have Consumer products and/or pharmaceutical marketing projects. Digital-first integrated campaigns (web, mobile, social). Experience with pharma regulatory compliance (FDA, MLR review process, etc.). Change management and agency process improvement.
