Director of Corporate Security and Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE)
We are seeking a highly experienced, forward-thinking Director of Corporate Security and HSE to lead the development, execution, and continuous improvement of all security and HSE programs across the company. From job sites and fiber hubs to regional offices and headquarters, this leader will be responsible for protecting our people, infrastructure, assets, and reputation.

Key Areas of Ownership
1. Corporate & Physical Security
Design and implement a comprehensive
physical security program
to protect all Ezee Fiber assets: fiber routes, data hubs, Points of Presence (POPs), construction zones, and regional facilities. Oversee
access control systems, surveillance, incident reporting , and vendor protocols at all sites. Perform ongoing
threat assessments ; define scalable protocols to mitigate risks from vandalism, theft, cyber-physical attacks, or insider threats. Lead
executive protection planning
and travel risk mitigation for key personnel as needed. 2. Health & Safety Leadership
Establish and lead robust health and safety programs tailored to
fiber construction, underground/aerial deployment, network maintenance , and office/warehouse environments. Implement
Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), safety audits, safety training, accident reporting , and corrective actions across all operations. Ensure regulatory compliance (OSHA, state/local) and lead relationships with regulatory bodies. Drive a
zero-incident culture
with high standards of accountability. 3. Environmental Compliance & Sustainability
Develop and enforce
environmental controls
for erosion, dust, emissions, waste, stormwater, and vegetation management in construction and field operations. Support broader
ESG goals
and sustainable practices in fiber deployment and office operations. Maintain permits, documentation, and compliance with federal, state, and local environmental requirements. 4. Business Continuity & Emergency Preparedness
Design and implement
enterprise-wide business continuity and disaster recovery plans , covering scenarios such as:
Severe weather Infrastructure damage Cyber or physical attacks
Ensure
redundancy
for critical infrastructure and rapid response protocols to protect uptime and customer service. Lead cross-functional
tabletop exercises and emergency response drills . 5. Enterprise Risk Management
Develop a practical, living
risk register
in collaboration with engineering, operations, HR, and IT. Proactively identify emerging risks (safety, operational, environmental, reputational) and design
mitigation strategies . Build structured incident response processes and reporting pipelines. 6. Leadership, Culture, and Team Building
Be the internal champion for a
“Safety, Security, and Service First” culture
across all teams. Build and lead a high-performing
HSE and Security team , including field safety specialists and regional compliance leads. Serve as a thought leader across the company—communicating clearly, earning trust, and influencing behavior at all levels. Recommend the
tools, systems, and resources
needed to scale our programs with Ezee Fiber's rapid growth. Qualifications & Requirements
Education & Certifications
Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Security Management, or related field required; Master’s degree a plus. Recognized certifications strongly preferred:
CSP, CHST, CPP, OSHA 30/510, ISO 45001 Auditor
Experience
7–10+ years leading corporate HSE or security programs, ideally within
telecom, utilities, infrastructure, or high-growth field-based environments . Proven success
building HSE and security programs from scratch . Experience developing
business continuity and disaster recovery
frameworks across multiple locations. Familiarity with
federal, state, and local
telecom construction and safety regulations. Skills & Attributes
Deep knowledge of
fiber construction safety , trenching/aerial deployment practices, and utility ROW regulations. Strong
leadership and communication
skills with the ability to influence senior executives and field teams alike. Hands-on, practical, solutions-driven mindset—equally effective on the job site or in the boardroom. Ability to lead during ambiguity and scale safety and security culture in a
fast-growing, decentralized
