The team will advance the core product and build integrations with industry-leading partners. Ideal candidates should be comfortable qualifying integration use cases, developing expertise with third-party products, and defining technical and business requirements. Who we are looking for: We are hiring a mid-level Full Stack Software Engineer II to join our team and contribute to rapid product development. We collaborate to set the technical direction for our SaaS products, developing user-friendly solutions. Our engineers enjoy building solutions that meet real customer needs, focusing on delivering value rather than perfection. This role is ideal for someone passionate about building cutting-edge software and helping develop a successful SaaS used by thousands of businesses. We promote an environment where small teams influence the technical direction collaboratively. Responsibilities: Master your software engineering craft, learning from and teaching other engineers. Develop scalable, robust, web-based solutions for complex business problems. Formulate and evaluate algorithms and database queries to support SaaS scalability and stability. Implement new features and optimize existing ones for maximum scalability, stability, and performance. Use test-driven development, code reviews, and continuous integration to ensure high-quality software and quick bug fixes. Collaborate closely with team members, QA, product owners, and customers. Leverage agile practices for continuous delivery of value, including test-driven development, pair programming, live code reviews, and CI/CD. Who you are: You have experience with Ruby, Rails, or similar languages like Java or Python, and some knowledge of JavaScript. You enjoy learning new technologies but value proven solutions. You prioritize maintainability and advocate for refactoring and clean code. You care about work-life balance and are willing to put in extra hours when necessary, without it becoming habitual. Additional Skills and Knowledge: Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. in Computer Science or related field. Experience developing web-based applications, preferably in SaaS environments. Creativity and problem-solving skills without a roadmap. Nice to Have: Experience across the full development stack. Knowledge of Ruby on Rails, React, Redux, AWS, SOA. Familiarity with Agile methodologies like Scrum or Kanban. Experience with Test-Driven Development. Compensation & Benefits: The expected salary range is $114,400 - $143,000, determined by skills, experience, and education. Benefits are available for full-time employees.
