Major Duties: Develop software solutions based on user needs, system flows, data usage, and work processes. Translate application requirements into functional applications. Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable applications. Ensure optimal application performance, quality, and responsiveness. Gain detailed understanding of assigned applications. Collaborate with internal and external technology teams. Adhere to secure coding and architecture standards. Work with solution architects and stakeholders to align solutions. Create technical specifications for development and migrations. Coordinate with systems and business units to meet regulatory guidelines. Identify and resolve bottlenecks and defects. Update skills to keep pace with technological advancements. Job Requirements: Knowledge / Skills: 8+ years of experience in Enterprise Java (J2EE) application development. Experience with frameworks like UML, Spring, Junit, XML. Database skills such as SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle are a plus. Experience with web services (SOAP/REST). Messaging technologies (MQ/JMS) are advantageous. Strong coding and deployment skills on Linux. Proficiency with source control tools like Git. Ability to learn new technologies independently. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience with cloud environments, microservices, containers, Kubernetes. Preferred / Recommended Skills: Experience with automated testing. Knowledge of design patterns and Agile methodologies. Familiarity with US Commercial Banking is advantageous. Additional Skills: Oracle Cloud and Oracle Banking background (OBDX/OBVAM) are highly desirable. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field. Understanding of Agile and Waterfall SDLCs. Self-motivated with minimal supervision. Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to change. Strong communication skills in English. Ability to work effectively in a team and establish relationships. Experience coding with third-party APIs, especially REST. The base salary range is $134K - $182K, depending on experience and location. Additional bonuses and comprehensive benefits are included.
