As an Information Security Analyst Advisor, you will help ensure today is safe and tomorrow is smarter. Our work depends on your support in a Security Operations Center for a federal customer. HOW AN INFORMATION SECURITY ANALYST ADVISOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT: Perform procedures to ensure the safety of information systems assets and protect systems from access or destruction. Implement and maintain platform and software patching of operating systems and related software in support of cyber activities. Establish and implement standards for computer operations, ensuring compatibility between hardware and software according to customer cyber policies. Monitor system resources, assist in designing, and implement backup and recovery processes; troubleshoot system issues and outages. Schedule, perform, and monitor system backups; perform data recoveries when necessary. Automate processes to streamline monitoring, troubleshooting, deployment, and maintenance. Serve as a specialist in your area of assignment; may lead assisting team members.
