Head of Collections - Interval AI Location: Lehi, Utah (IN PERSON ONLY) Compensation: $80,000 – $120,000 / year + equity About Interval AI: Interval AI is transforming the way consumer businesses collect on overdue accounts. We help companies recover revenue faster, stay fully compliant, and protect customer relationships through our AI-powered collections platform. Our clients span industries like home services, lending, medical, legal, and more. The technology is replacing outdated processes with modern, compliant automation at a fraction of the cost to traditional collections. We are growing fast, backed by venture capital, and building the next generation of first-party collections technology. The Role - Head of Collections: We are hiring a Head of Collections to lead compliance, strategy, and operational excellence across all 50 states. This role is both strategic and hands-on, guiding our collections roadmap while collaborating directly with our engineering team to ensure our AI cadences are efficient, effective, and legally sound. You will: Oversee compliance with all federal and state collections regulations (FDCPA, TCPA, Reg F, state-specific laws). Work closely with product and engineering teams to design and optimize collections workflows and outreach cadences. Lead the build-out of our collections roadmap , setting standards for recovery rates, consumer experience, and compliance metrics. Provide operational insights into industry best practices and evolving compliance requirements. Partner with leadership to explore licensing and expansion opportunities , including potential acquisitions. Acquire licensing needed in states with stricterobligations Own the AI collections process End-To-End What We’re Looking For 5+ years in a managerial collections role with a focus on consumer debt (first-party or third-party). Strong understanding of compliance frameworks in all 50 states . Proven ability to optimize recovery rates while maintaining a positive consumer experience. Experience working with or adapting to modern collections technology is a plus. Strong leadership skills with the ability to collaborate across sales, engineering, and operations. Why Join Us?
