Investment Data Analyst
to join our
Pacific Life Investments (PLI) Team
in Newport Beach, CA.
As an Investment Data Analyst, you'll play a key role in Pacific Life's growth and long-term success to establish investment data frameworks, ensure data accuracy and participate in the execution of data governance processes for the company's investment data.
How you'll help move us forward: *
Work closely with the Investment Data Steward to support decision-making authority for investment data use and practices across PLI, including escalating data matters, resolving data quality issues, and attesting to effective data management. * Have a solid understanding of investment data workflows, downstream effects and systems involved, and are able to identify opportunities for leveraging data to assist investment decision-making and improve overall efficiency * Demonstrate a reasonable understanding of all existing asset classes and ensure they are reflected accurately in various systems * Understand overall PLI's investment data needs and work with the Investment Data Steward to help gather requirements and prioritize PLI business needs The experience you bring: * Bachelor's degree preferably in Finance, Accounting, or Data Science * 5 or more years of relevant experience working with investment data and corresponding systems. Prior experience in Investments is a must
What makes you stand out: * Basic knowledge of asset characteristics and financial markets * Familiarity with Business Objects, Power BI, SQL, Bloomberg and S&P Capital IQ * Strong attention to detail, thorough, proactive, persistent, good listener, good problem solver * Ability to work independently with minimal guidance

The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to experience, qualifications and geographic location. Also, most employees are eligible for additional incentive pay. $100,530.00 - $122,870.00
