Description
- Build and manage project timelines with clear dependencies, critical paths, and systematic methodologies to communicate status effectively. Handle risks and mitigation strategies, re-plan as necessary. Drive alignment across the organization and between teams. - Drive consensus among multiple groups with varying opinions and needs. Influence teams around a common purpose and coordinate the plan of execution. - Proactively identify and manage risks, close gaps, and adapt to project changes in an agile manner. - Keep teams on the critical path, minimizing distractions. - Provide clear, timely, and objective communication, including regular program status updates and reviews for the executive team. Minimum Qualifications
8+ years of experience in leading large-scale programs building machine learning-powered products. 3+ years of experience bringing a product from concept to completion, preferably involving machine-learning features and sophisticated backend and frontend systems. Deep understanding of software development for machine-learned products and services, and how analytics and evaluation data can improve those products. Self-motivated and proactive with strong critical thinking skills. Strong desire to learn, problem-solving aptitude, and ability to make sophisticated trade-offs. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder influence. Preferred Qualifications
Experience in program management or engineering in search, computer vision, and/or natural language understanding. At Apple, base pay ranges from $172,100 to $305,600, depending on skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
