Our interview process involves several technical rounds, aiming to complete within one week. Overview As Speechify grows, our AI team seeks a Senior Backend Engineer to ensure scalable infrastructure, optimize product flows, and build resilient systems. If you enjoy strategizing, high-paced environments, and taking ownership, we want to hear from you. What You'll Do Develop state-of-the-art voice cloning technologies. Implement low-latency, cost-effective text-to-speech solutions. An Ideal Candidate Should Have Proven backend development experience with Python. Experience with GCP, AWS, Azure, or other cloud providers. Efficiency in ideation and implementation, with task prioritization skills. Experience with Docker and containerized deployments. Proficiency in deploying high-availability applications on Kubernetes. Experience deploying NLP or TTS models to production. The U.S. base salary range for this full-time role is $140,000–$200,000 plus bonus and equity, depending on experience. Interested?
