for our team. This is a hybrid/on-site position requiring 2-3 days at our Vienna, VA headquarters. Position Description: Ardent is hiring a

Capture Development Lead

to join a fast-moving team. As a federal contractor specializing in geospatial intelligence, digital transformation, and AI/ML, this role is crucial in identifying, pursuing, and winning new business with DOD and FedCiv agencies. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of the Federal IT market, experience in federal capture strategies, and customer engagement skills. We support our team with a proposal shop and program delivery team, providing tools like Salesforce, GovWin, and AI search engines to aid business development. Responsibilities: Develop and maintain relationships with federal stakeholders, industry partners, and internal teams. Identify and qualify new opportunities through market analysis and networking. Develop and execute strategic capture plans with a 1-3 year outlook. Capture Management: Lead the capture process, develop plans, strategies, and value propositions. Collaborate with experts to develop solutions and proposals. Manage proposal development, ensuring compliance and alignment with strategy. Customer Engagement: Build strong relationships with federal customers, understanding their missions and needs. Serve as a trusted advisor on our capabilities. Market Research and Analysis: Conduct market research to identify opportunities in geospatial, digital, and AI/ML sectors. Analyze trends, competition, and customer needs. Use tools like GovWin and FPDS. Collaboration and Teamwork: Work with technical, project, and leadership teams to support BD efforts. Encourage knowledge sharing and continuous improvement as a team player. Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field preferred. At least 5 years in business development or capture management in federal contracting. Skills and Competencies: Knowledge of federal procurement, FAR, DFAR, Shipley Method. Proven success in federal capture strategies and tools. Experience managing federal proposals. Excellent communication and analytical skills. Ability to build stakeholder relationships. Self-motivated, competitive, and deadline-oriented. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with geospatial tech, cloud, AI/ML, and federal contracts.
