– Serve as a strong advocate for clients involved in
insurance litigation , handling coverage disputes, wrongful denials, and bad faith claims.
Case Development
– Conduct in-depth analysis of
policy language, claims records, and relevant legal precedents
to construct compelling arguments.
Litigation & Courtroom Advocacy
– Appear in
court proceedings, depositions, mediations, and trials , persuasively presenting cases on behalf of clients.
Settlement Negotiation
– Engage in strategic discussions with opposing parties to
reach favorable resolutions
while safeguarding clients’ best interests.
Legal Research & Writing
– Prepare
pleadings, briefs, motions, and correspondence , ensuring accuracy and a solid foundation for legal action.
Client Engagement
– Maintain clear and professional communication with clients, keeping them informed at every stage of their case.
Team Collaboration
– Work alongside
attorneys, paralegals, and support staff , leveraging a cooperative environment to strengthen case strategies.
Qualifications & Skills: Education & Licensure
–
Juris Doctor (J.D.)
degree from an accredited law school; must hold an
active license to practice law
and be in good standing with the bar.
Experience Level
– Open to attorneys with
1 to 6 years of litigation experience , ideally with exposure to
insurance law
or similar fields.
Legal Expertise
– Strong understanding of
civil litigation processes , with the ability to handle a diverse caseload efficiently.
Persuasive Communication
– Exceptional writing and oral advocacy skills, enabling effective courtroom presentations and negotiations.
Negotiation & Dispute Resolution
– Ability to engage in
productive settlement discussions , ensuring optimal outcomes for clients.
Case Management
– Detail-oriented approach to managing multiple matters while maintaining
organization and efficiency .
