Our community bank client is seeking a Credit Officer in Memphis, TN. The role involves managing credit analysis and administration teams, including recruitment, development, compensation, and performance management. This position offers a salary up to $110K and a full benefits package.
(This is not a remote position) Responsibilities include: Developing financial goals for the department, including credit quality, volume, and risk distribution. Providing loan structure, terms, risk rating, and pricing recommendations. Presenting loans to the Bank’s Management and Directors Loan Committees for approval. Collaborating with credit analysts and lenders to ensure consistency in loan presentations. Implementing and monitoring credit policies and procedures to maintain asset quality and manage credit risk. Ensuring compliance with credit criteria, underwriting requirements, and portfolio performance standards. Preparing reports on loan quality, growth trends, and product concentrations. Reviewing real estate data and assessing its impact on the loan portfolio. Delegating tasks to balance workloads and meet customer expectations. Representing the Bank in communications with regulators, auditors, and external reviewers. Participating in bank committees such as the Management and Directors Loan Committees. Who Are You?
