Office Engineer Role Work Environment Based in Washington, DC, within the Infrastructure Division of the Mid Atlantic Sector, supporting construction management on infrastructure/rail/transit projects with clients like WMATA, VRE, VDOT, DDOT. The role involves remote work with site visits, requiring organizational skills, technical knowledge, and effective communication. Key Responsibilities Assist in preparing, managing, and reviewing project documentation, contracts, and reports. Maintain accurate project records and documentation. Support project scheduling, cost tracking, and progress reporting. Review contractor schedules, quantities, and cost estimates. Participate in project meetings and document progress. Track contractor work progress related to quantities, schedule, and budget. Coordinate with clients and consultants throughout project stages. Assist in resolving project issues and facilitating communication. Required Experience and Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field. Engineer-In-Training (EIT) preferred. At least 2 years of construction project scheduling experience or equivalent. Knowledge of construction scheduling and cost estimating preferred. Familiarity with Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project preferred. Strong communication skills, proficiency in MS Office. Construction certifications such as concrete and asphalt are a plus. Compensation The salary range for this role is $80,000 to $110,000, based on experience, skills, certifications, and location.
