- Hackensack Meridian Pascack Valley Medical Center is a 128-bed, full-service, acute-care community hospital with a new emergency department, a state-of-the-art maternity center, a women's imaging center, and an ICU.
Responsibilities
Patient Care Technician work alongside doctors, nurses and other healthcare professionals to provide direct patient care in a variety of healthcare environments. The Patient Care Technician (PCT) plays a vital role in the healthcare delivery setting often having more patient contact than any other team member including doctors and nurses.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- 1- 2 years patient care experience.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification by the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross (ARC).
- Ability to make report as required by role
- Hospital experience.
- CNA certification or equivalent.
- Experience with patient safety best practices.
