We are seeking a Vice President, Technology Enablement to be a part of the global Business Enablement organization. The Business Enablement function has been established as a critical driver in the establishment and execution of the go-forward operating strategy for the enterprise. The Business Enablement function will lead the technological evolution of the organization by bringing together business leadership and technology resources to shape the way we do business globally.
The Vice President, Technology Enablement will champion the transformation and enablement of business operations through modern, cohesive, and innovative technology solutions. This leader will oversee the global Technology Enablement function within the Business Enablement organization, acting as a bridge between business objectives and IT capabilities, with a strong focus on optimizing the user experience, accelerating technology adoption, and delivering scalable tools that enhance performance and productivity.
The Vice President, Technology Enablement plays a pivotal role in shaping and advancing the enterprise’s technology strategy, ensuring alignment with business priorities and process evolution. This role will lead business-led ideation, proof of concept execution, UX/CX design, and post-implementation support, enabling a unified and streamlined approach to technology across regions. As the steward of technology enablement, this leader will champion user-centric design, accelerate technology adoption, and deliver scalable, high-impact tools that enhance productivity and performance across the enterprise. The role will also establish and mature product management roles, fostering a culture of ownership, agility, and continuous improvement.
This position requires a forward-thinking leader with experience translating business needs into technology solutions and driving innovation at scale.
What You Need to Succeed
Bachelor’s degree required.
Master’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field preferred.
At least 12 years of experience in business technology enablement, innovation management, or digital transformation in infrastructure, telecommunications, or asset-heavy industries.
Deep experience evaluating, selecting, and implementing business technology solutions, including low-code/no-code platforms, AI/ML tools, RPA, and workflow automation tools.
Proven ability to lead ideation and concept development initiatives that evolve into enterprise-scale solutions.
Strong background in customer and user experience design, with knowledge of design thinking and UX/CX best practices.
Demonstrated success in managing technology portfolios, vendors, and post-implementation business adoption strategies.
Familiarity with enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, CRM, workflow, and data platforms) and their integration with emerging tools.
Strategic and analytical thinker, with the ability to assess business needs and guide the technology roadmap accordingly.
Strong collaboration skills with the ability to engage business stakeholders, IT leadership, and third-party solution providers.
Experience operating in complex, matrixed, and global environments with an understanding of regional and local constraints.
Skilled in building and leading high-performing, cross-functional teams.
Experience with agile methodologies and product management frameworks is a plus.
Approximately 20–25% international travel may be required in support of this position’s responsibilities.
What You Can Offer Us
Lead the global Tech Enablement function, advancing the company’s business-led technology strategy in alignment with enterprise transformation goals.
Serve as the primary business-facing partner to identify, evaluate, and incubate emerging technologies, including AI, RPA, IoT, and robotics.
Oversee business technology innovation, including ideation, concept validation, and proof-of-concept (PoC) initiatives that support strategic priorities.
Lead a product management team responsible for defining and driving the lifecycle of business technology solutions—from ideation and requirement creation through delivery and adoption—ensuring alignment with user needs and enterprise strategy
Lead a product delivery team responsible for driving the implementation of new technologies acting as a liaison between IT, Vendors, and business stakeholders. Responsible for ensuring the successful launch of new products into business processes and systems.
Lead UX/CX design support for technology initiatives, driving human-centered design principles to enhance business system usability and adoption.
Guide configuration and deployment and administer business-owned tools and automation platforms, particularly low-code/no-code environments.
Drive strategic vendor selection, for non-core business technology solutions.
Provide guidance to business stakeholders and IT delivery teams to ensure that technology implementations achieve intended outcomes.
Maintain and update the business technology roadmap, ensuring prioritization and alignment across enterprise-wide initiatives.
Oversee technology change management and training programs to support business adoption and maximize ROI from digital tools.
Monitor and report on the effectiveness of new technologies, using KPIs and stakeholder feedback to identify enhancement opportunities.
Support the development of a federated tech enablement model that balances global standardization with regional business requirements.
Create and maintain knowledge assets, playbooks, and toolkits that support scalable tech excellence practices.
Collaborate with Process, Data, and PMO excellence teams to ensure a cohesive end-to-end enablement model.
As a Vice President you are responsible for the recruitment, performance management, and career development for your team. You’ll also be expected to cultivate a collaborative team dynamic that enables us to meet our business objectives.
