Interim Director of External Education

Base pay range

$80.00/hr - $85.00/hr

Our client, a well-known university in Boston, is seeking an Interim Director of External Education to work Monday-Friday, 35 hours a week with a compensation of $80-$85/hour. This position is ideal for individuals with knowledge of program management, the ability to plan and execute of a portfolio of external education programs and have strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and plan the execution of portfolio programs from start to finish
• Communicate program expectations, deliverables to stakeholders, and timelines to participants, faculty, and internal and external partners
• Provide coaching, feedback, and oversight to Program Managers
• Develop program budgets and track transactions that align with the programs plans
• Manage relations with vendors and can negotiate contracts to ensure a seamless service delivery
• Create and maintain accurate records that allow all programs to adhere to internal procedures and align with the university's standards
• Manage the process of payment to faculty members, ensuring that they comply with the institutions policies
• Oversee and manage program activities such as documentation, data entry, refinement of planning tools, and the analysis on evaluation results
