Must be BC/BE in EM (MD or DO) and EM residency trained Possess strong communication skills Expertise in the evaluation and management of acute medical emergencies Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with sound judgment and decision-making skills
9 ED beds 24 hours of physician coverage Trauma transfers to Methodist Hospital or Methodist Children’s Hospital 1099 position - up to 120 hours available The emergency services team is fully trained team and equipped to handle a variety of adult and pediatric conditions. Radiology, full-service laboratory and telemetry Specific on-site diagnostic equipment will include: 64-slice CT scanner, dedicated x-ray suite, ultrasound and telemetry equipment Immediate intervention for serious emergencies where treatment time is critical with quick transfer capabilities to any Methodist Healthcare facility 24-hour monitoring and testing of patients, such as chest pain cases Use of a Picture Archiving Communications System (PACS) to allow staff to electronically transmit any diagnostic image

13,800 annual volume 9 ED beds 24 hours of physician coverage Shift times: 7a-7p, 7p-7a MediTech EMR Trauma transfers to Methodist Hospital or Methodist Children’s Hospital 1099 position - up to 120 hours available Meditech EMR
