Meadow Gold Dairy has immediate job openings for well-versed Blow Mold Operators to perform an array of functions including maintaining, breaking down and setting up equipment and machinery, while troubleshooting and resolving basic to moderate operating issues. Machine operators will be responsible for processing finished or raw materials, while following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and communicating effectively with all departments and meeting daily deadlines.Meadow Gold Dairy is a farmer-owned brand of Dairy Farmers of America (DFA), a dairy marketing cooperative owned by more than 12,500 family farmers. COMPENSATION/SHIFT$24.12 (Increase to $26.80 within the first year)Tuesday - Sunday 2:00PM - 10:30PMBENEFITS:Union pension planCompetitive payyearly increases Career growth opportunities - we promote from within!Comprehensive healthcare benefits*Paid Time Off JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESMonitor conveyor lines for damaged bottlesOperate bagger and debagger stationsTroubleshoot and implement minor repairs of blowmold equipmentTrain others on blowmold operationsMaintain open communication with other departments, management, and employees to notify of any problems and/or concerns that may restrict efficiencyEnsure all required information is documented in accordance with SOP'sAnalyze process data and equipment performance data to improve quality, throughput, and troubleshootUtilizing continuous improvement mindset, assist in identifying opportunities to improve processesReport any food safety and food quality related issues to management immediatelyMaintain safe working conditions for employees and compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding health and safety issuesFollow all DFA good manufacturing practices (GMP) and work in a manner consistent with all corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirementsThe requirements herein are intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by employee, but is not a complete list of responsibilities, duties, and skills required.
