Monday-Friday, Daytime Hours
Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspection of vehicle and merchandise to ensure road safety.
- Plan route to and from customers businesses and adjust for traffic and/or construction.
- Ensure that daily manifests are complete and accurate.
- Safely transport merchandise to customers in a timely, safe, and courteous manner.
- Load truck with daily merchandise to be delivered as well as unload merchandise for customer.
- Pull orders to match manifest.
- Prepare and maintain records in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with dispatching and/or customers to resolve any delivery issues.
- Experience with flat bed, air brake, and manual transmission
- Must provide a clean DMV report
- Ability to lift 75-100 pounds
- Must pass DOT compliance background check
- Must have a driving record in Good Standing
- Valid Class B license - Operate vehicle with GVW over 26,000 lbs with no restrictions.
- Forklift experience preferred
- Diligent attention to safety and detail
- Maintain a neat appearance consistent with the construction industry
